Our Story
"The decision to launch SXC Gin stemmed after an evening of drinks with friends. I have tried gin before, but openly admitted I did not like the taste. However, this time it was different. When asked, I was told that it was mixed with lemonade, not a traditional tonic mixer. This changed everything.
As that famous Company states - “75% of your drink is the mixer” and it became apparent very quickly that if I did not like the taste of tonic, then I would never get to enjoy the spirit’s flavour profile also. Thereafter, I worked on researching to see if I could create a spirit brand that was focused on ‘G&L’ drinkers - so called ‘lemonade lovers’. This is where SXC Gin was born.
Our mission is to provide added choice to fellow gin lovers by challenging the age-old stereotypes that exist within the industry. We do this through offering bold, uncompromising flavours that offer a unique twist on what is currently available."

Our Purpose
At SXC HQ, we work tirelessly to ensure you receive a first-class drinking experience when drinking our spirits. We achieve this by developing unique flavour profiles that entice the senses and turn heads, all combined with freshest of Welsh spring water.
Founded in 2022 in the heart of the Gower Peninsula, we have developed our own multi-stage distillation process to ensure a superior and smooth tasting spirit is achieved consistently. This carries through our bold, uncompromising approach to doing things right from 'botanical to bottle'.
Going forward, it has ambitious plans to increase its product offerings and make its mark within the UK spirit industry.

"Botanical To Bottle"
We manage our entire production process in-house, something that is not common among startups like ours in the alcohol industry. This includes sustainably foraging (or in some cases growing) our chosen flavours right through to final bottling ready for you to enjoy.
A slow maceration process allows for both bold and subtle flavours to be extracted into our spirit. We also use a long distillation process in order to ensure our finished spirit is both smooth to drink and captures all the flavours we want included.

All of our spirits are bottled at 40% ABV which balances flavour and strength. Whilst other producers are moving towards weaker spirits in light of rises in alcoholic duty, we believe there's a benefit to keeping our strength unchanged.
